I've heard that after 60k miles the engine will require a rebuild. Proved 100% true for my buddy with a 93 turbo. I'm not downing rotaries in general. Just 1993+ models. My same friend also had a late 80's model RX7 than ran for over 300,000 miles. The older ones are very strong and reliable engines. : baddest engine out there. the only problem is that no joe blow on the street can just walk up and tune it. Remember the last RX7 the that came out...... One you ran out of gears so fast that you could keep up with it and I saw a guy one hit second gear, it turned the car a full 180 and when he popped 3rd it turned it around again.... Thats bad a$$
: : Swapping out an engine that is notorious for flowing up, and swapping it out for one of the best built motors ever created? That car pretty much has it all now. Looks, handling, & crazy hp
